A call went out to the metropolitan police about the attack. They rushed to the scene and immediately started providing life-saving measures to the multiple injured people. They were all taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. According to the report, the four women and two men are now in stable condition.

The man accused of the mass stabbing was also found at the scene. He had stabbed himself after his violent spree. He was found, covered in blood, with his knife only feet away from his body. Since then, he has also been taken into hospital and is receiving surgery for his knife wounds.

Drug Addled Man Attacks Multiple Innocent People With A Knife

According to Police Chief Pamela Smith, the man accused of the stabbing of multiple people was under the influence of an unknown substance. He had lost control of his senses and went on a rampage. There was no clear motive behind his attacks, and they have been described as "senseless."

Initially, the unidentified man began by stabbing himself and a woman he was with. The assailant then went on to attack a grandmother and her two granddaughters. The elderly woman had nothing to do with the initial event. By this point, bystanders had noticed the attack and stepped in to intervene.

The two men who attempted to prevent the man from stabbing more people were also attacked. They received wounds as they took him down. A local man, Salvador Saucedo Guzman, who witnessed the stabbing, had this to say about the incident.

"He chose the wrong block to come on. Even though he had attacked those women and really hurt those women, we put him down." The actions of the two men possibly prevented the attacker from stabbing more people in the neighbourhood.

The local man also stated that the grandmother who was stabbed also attempted to fight off the drug-fueled attacker. At present, the man accused of the stabbing is still in hospital undergoing surgery for his wounds.
