The romances of these five artists and their famous spouses would make great country songs.
We all know and love country power couples like Tim and Faith or Blake and Miranda, but some country stars have spouses who are famous in other industries.
5. Kimberly Perry and J.P. Arencibia
In 2014, The Band Perry's lead singer married J.P. Arencibia, a catcher for the Texas Rangers. The pair met in 2012 and began dating shortly after. Arencibia popped the question under a large oak tree at Perry's parents' house in Greenville, Tenn., fulfilling a childhood dream for Perry.
4. Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman
You could say "Days Go By" particularly fast for Keith Urban, who married actress Nicole Kidman after dating for just one month. Giving credibility to the phrase "love at first sight," the couple is still going strong almost nine years later. They are the proud parents of six-year-old Sunday Rose and four-year-old Faith Margaret.
3. Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher
In 2008, Carrie Underwood began dating her future husband, Mike Fisher, a professional hockey player for the Ottawa Senators at the time. They were married in 2010, and in February 2011, Fisher was traded to the Nashville Predators. The two welcomed their first child, Isaiah Michael Fisher, in February 2015.
2. Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley
Paisley first laid eyes on his future wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, as she married another man...on the big screen, that is. He took a date to Kimberly's movie debut, Father of the Bride. Years later, he hired her for his music video for "I'm Gonna Miss Her," and they were married in 2003. They recently renewed their vows in a surprise ceremony.
1. Jason Aldean (Brittany Kerr)
As the most recently married country star, Aldean earns the top spot on this list. The singer wed former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr on March 21 in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Kerr walked down the aisle to John Legend's chart-topping hit, "All of Me." The couple went public with their relationship in 2012.
