44-Year-Old Rap Icon Reveals Engagement to His 23-Year-Old Ex

They seem to be engaged... again.

A 44-year-old rap legend is ready to say I do... again... seemingly revealing his engagement... to his 23-year-old ex... who he denied previously engaged to.

Indeed, the saga of Lil Wayne's relationship status has reportedly hit a new milestone. To top it off, the "Lollipop" rapper revealed the renewed engagement in a very Inception-like way...

The rap icon dropped his possible engagement to former ex Madi Cannon by calling her his fiancée in a video congratulating fellow Hot Boys member B.G. on his engagement to Brooke Jones.

B.G. posted the footage, which appears to be a FaceTime call, on his IG on Sept. 29.

"Congratulations b—h," a grinning Lil Wayne begins in the selfie footage. The "Mrs. Officer" rapper then shifts the camera to catch Madi Cannon hanging out nearby. "And I'm marrying this one... this is Madison," he continues.

"Congratulations," a smiling Cannon chimes in.

Then, the 44-year-old declares his 23-year-old former ex his official (?) bride-to-be...

"This is my fiancée," Lil Wayne, gleefully derailing his well wishes for his friend's engagement, said. "And congratulations. Let us know what color we're wearing. I'm the best man. You hear me? Love you b—h."

"My lil Brodie gave me his blessings @liltunechi," B.G. wrote alongside the footage, sidestepping Lil Wayne's fiancée comment.

Lil Wayne Previously Denied Being Engaged to Madi Cannon

Of course, fans of the rapper might be scratching their heads.

Back in July, the rap icon painstakingly denied rumors that he was engaged to Cannon.

"I would like to clear something up," the rapper, real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., began in a live stream. "No, I'm not engaged. I had a beautiful thing going on with an amazing person, but, obviously, due to the validity of the temperature of today's crazy world and culture, I considered, I don't want to be such a burden on such an amazing person. So, we decided to part. Sucks."

Meanwhile, the beloved rapper hasn't been married since his marriage to reality TV personality Toya Johnson from 2004 to 2006. However, the prolific family man does have four children with four different women. Here's hoping his 23-year-old fiancée is ready for a very blended family.
