A 41-year-old Missouri woman hit a bank worker with her car as they were setting up Christmas lights outside. This happened at Sullivan Bank in St. Clair when staff members were installing decorative lights at the closed drive-thru.

Despite what Jemma Allen claimed after the cops interrogated her, the act was purely intentional. It all boiled down to a feud that Allen ignited as she attempted to enter the drive-thru.
Woman Hits Worker With Car Over Drive-Thru Closure
The workers denied Allen entry due to it being closed around 9:30 AM on Monday, December 2. Installing decorations meant that they needed the space temporarily closed. Despite this, Allen got angry and argued with the workers.
According to the authorities, Allen even started throwing profanities at one of the bank workers who was helping put up Christmas lights. Both security camera footage and witness reports solidified what had happened here, and what was about to happen.
Just as one of the employees bent over to grab a tote, Allen pushed on the gas pedal and ran into them. The security footage showed the victim falling "onto the hood of the Kia" and holding onto the hood.
"As Allen accelerated, the victim was flung off of the hood of the KIA, onto the ground," the St. Clair Police Department mentioned in a press release.
The victim was rushed to Mercy Washington hospital with "visible injuries." Fortunately, they only had a few bruises after the incident, according to the authorities.
Allen immediately drove off in her 2016 Kia Soul before the police were able to find her at a residence not too far from the bank. Before they could arrest her, Allen attempted to "pull away from officers" but they managed to get ahold of her.
This resulted in the police charging Allen with second-degree assault and resisting a felony arrest. Once the cops interviewed Allen, she claimed that it was all an accident.
Despite this claim, reports from witnesses and the security footage showed otherwise. Allen "hit her accelerator" and didn't give any mind to the injured victim.
The authorities were going to admit Allen into Franklin County Adult Detention Center. This was before she was released on a $100,000 bond just a day later on Tuesday.
