Using a video posted to his Instagram page, Brad Srnolds spoke to the world. "Hey everybody, it's Brad from 3 Doors Down. I hope you're having a great day today. I've got some not-so-good news for you today."
"I got sick a couple of weeks ago," the 3 Doors Down Singer continued. "So I went to the doctor to get checked out. I had actually got the diagnosis that I had clear cell renal carcinoma that had metastasized into my lung," he told his fans. "And it's Stage 4, and that's not real good."
Brad Arnold was clear and open about his diagnosis, and it was a very personal thing to watch. Fans of 3 Doors Down are shocked to hear of his stage four cancer, but Brad Arnold is staying strong, despite his news.
Brad Arnold Shows No Fear
Despite the tragic cancer news, Brad Arnold is keeping his head up, and is more worried about the need to cancel the upcoming 3 Doors Down tour. "It is gonna force us to cancel our tour this summer, and we're sorry for that," he apologized to his fans. "And I'd love for you to lift me up in prayer every chance you get. And I think it is time for me to maybe go listen to 'It's Not My Time' a little bit."
But, for Arnold, his life is now in the hands of his god, and he has faith that is enough. "You know what? We serve a mighty God, and he can overcome anything. So I have no fear. I really, sincerely, am not scared of it at all."
Since then, the comment section filled with 3 Doors Down fans wishing Brad Arnold their best wished with his cancer. Prayers and hopes have poured in for the singer. Hopefully, we will see them back in full force in no time at all.
