Who needs machines to move hay bales when you have cows? Not these Montana cowboys, that's for sure.
Even cows get itchy and need a friend's help in scratching that itch. That's where their affection for these hay bales comes in. As the Hereford cows cozy up to the bales and try to satisfy their tickle, they are just too much for the bales to handle and off they go, rolling down the hill with abandon.
For reference, each of these hay bales weigh around 1,000 pounds or more. Now consider that these cows are pushing the bales around like toys and you'll have a new appreciation for the strength of the bovine. Hereford cows can weigh anywhere between 1,200-1,800 pounds themselves so it's not too surprising that they easily push these hay bales around the field.
To the cows' benefits, though, each animal looks like it's having the most fun in the world as they prance separately after their own hay bale. Now, if only those cowboys could train these Montana cows to do the heavy pushing for them.
