A 25-year-old woman who was last seen entering an unknown sedan on a doorbell camera has been found dead six days after going missing. Authorities are now treating the death as a homicide.

Police have identified the victim as Heather Williams, 25. She was found in Fayetteville, North Carolina. According to WRAL News, detectives found her during an investigation of a missing and endangered person. The search team entered a wooded area near Newark Avenue and State Avenue, where they found the body.
Doorbell camera footage from January 4th shows Williams leaving her residence and entering a car that stops for her on the road. The family says they don't know who was driving the vehicle and that it may be somebody Heather met online.
In an interview with WRAL, Mary, Heather's sister, explains, "Her being out there at night time, alone. It was a dangerous situation for her to begin with."
Mary also reveals that police have identified the driver of the car that Heather entered, but there have been no arrests. Heather walks with a visible limp in the footage, which the family attribute to a car accident in 2015. The accident affected Heather's cognitive ability, and the family says she worked hard to recover.
"Over the years, she's worked really hard to have a normal life and to do normal things 25-year-olds do. She was loving. She loved her family. And, she loved Jesus." Mary added.
Mary Urges Anyone With Information To Come Foward
During the WRAL interview, Mary asked anyone to come forward with information explaining what had happened to her sister. "I just ask that people out there, if they hear anything, if they see anything, somebody knows something. Somebody has talked to somebody. They slip up on the way, so somebody has got to know something. I just pray that whoever does know anything comes forward so we can get justice for Heather."
According to CBS, Investigators have confirmed that they do have some leads, although no details have been revealed.
