Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer" and Yorgos Lanthimos' "Poor Things" top the list of the 2023 films with the most nominations, with the former poised to take home Best Actor (Cillian Murphy), Supporting Actor (Robert Downey Jr.), Director and the night's top prize, Best Picture. The Best Actress race is shaping up to be the night's most unpredictable category, with Emma Stone ("Poor Things") up against Lily Gladstone ("Killers of the Flower Moon"). If Gladstone wins, she'll make history as the first-ever Indigenous performer to take home the Best Actress trophy.

This year's Oscars red carpet was dominated by refreshing takes on classic black formal wear. On the other end of the spectrum, celebs went for ethereal gowns in an array of pastel hues.
