2023 CMA Awards: The Complete List of Winners

Lainey Wilson takes home Entertainer of the Year.

The 2023 CMA Awards aired live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. ET. Some of country music's biggest stars were up for awards, including Lainey Wilson, who lead in nominations with nine nods. The "Things a Man Oughta Know" singer took home the night's top prize: Entertainer of the Year.

The singer-songwriter acknowledged her "lucky number" nine in her emotional speech — and included a shoutout to her fashion of choice.

"It finally feels like country music is starting to love me back...nine might be my lucky number," Wilson said. "It's the year I wrote my first song, the year I got my first pair of bell bottoms..."

Wilson was up against Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood and Morgan Wallen for Entertainer of the Year. She also won Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year (for Bell Bottom Country). She also garnered nominations for "Heart Like a Truck" (Single of the Year and Song of the Year).

Wilson made history by becoming the first artist to lead all nominees in their first two years on the ballot. Last year, Wilson picked up six nods.
