Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, Mickey Guyton + More to Perform at National Memorial Day Concert

Alan Jackson, Vince Gill and Mickey Guyton are among the country artists set to perform at the 2021 National Memorial Day Concert, a pre-taped 90 minute special, which will air on May 30 at 7 p.m. CT on PBS.

Musicians Sara Bareilles, Denyce Graves, The Four Tops and Gladys Knight and actors Steve Buscemi and Mary McCormack will also appear on the special. The event will be co-hosted by actors Joe Mantegna and Gary Sinise.

The event will also feature appearances by General Colin Powell, Broadway star Brian d'Arcy James, Joe Morten, Kathy Baker and the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jack Everly.

Guyton will perform the National Anthem at the event, which honors men and women in uniform as well as their families. The show will also feature a 20th Anniversary Remembrance of the 9/11 terror attacks, the 70th anniversary of the Korean War and a tribute to American nurses from the Vietnam War.

The National Memorial Day Concert: A Night Of Remembrance will also stream on Facebook, YouTube and PBS.org and will be available on demand from May 30 to June 13, 2021.

The concert is typically filmed as a live concert on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., but due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, the event will be pre-taped this year.
