Last year's Pilgrimage Festival was canceled due to severe weather and artists such as Jack White, Brandi Carlile, Lilly Hiatt and Chris Stapleton were unable to perform at the festival. Carlile, Hiatt and more played impromptu concerts in Nashville the same weekend. White later played a makeup concert at Bridgestone Arena with Margo Price and Joshua Hedley.
The Pilgrimage Festival was launched in 2015 by producers Justin Timberlake and Kevin Griffin.
