Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris and More Earn 2019 Grammy Nominations

The nominations for the 2019 Grammy awards were announced this morning (Dec. 7) and Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris and Brandi Carlile are among the top nominees.

Musgraves earned a nomination in the all-genre category of Album of the Year for Golden Hour as well as nominations in country-specific categories such as Best Country Album (for Golden Hour), Best Country Solo Performance (for "Butterflies") and Best Country Song (for "Space Cowboy").

Morris earned nominations for Record and Song of the Year for her pop smash "The Middle."

Carlile is nominated for Album of the Year for By the Way, I Forgive You and Record and Song of the Year for "The Joke."

Margo Price and Luke Combs each earned nominations for Best New Artist while Ashley McBryde is up for Best Country Album for Girl Going Nowhere.

The 61st annual Grammy Awards will take place Feb. 10, 2019 in Los Angeles.
