I think it's remarkable that people are still able to do anything past the age of 85. But, this 101-year-old man is still successfully renewing his license just for the hell of it.

When asked about his license renewal, Thomas 'Ed' Davis told ABC 11, "I guess I probably did it to see if I could!" After the age of 85, it's required to renew a driving license every two years. This is only fair, as deteriorating health is a serious problem for other people on the road.
However, the 101-year-old had no trouble renewing his license. He said the process was actually pretty easy, all things considered. "'Wasn't much to it really. I filled out a form, and they held up a card and said, 'Can you read that?' I could read it, so there I was."
Whether we should be concerned with how simple it was is up for debate. Either way, the centenarian was reissued with his driving license, and he is free to roam the roads for another two years.
101-Year-Old Doesn't Use His License Much, Thankfully
Despite renewing his license again, the 101-year-old says he doesn't have too much need for it. These days he has people who will happily drive him around. Besides this, he doesn't live too far from his family. Thankfully, this keeps him from needing to drive too much.
I was alarmed that there wasn't a reaction test or anything else to go along with the license renewal. I would like to know that the ancient folks diving around can at least slam the breaks on when needed. But, alas, as long as they're not blind, they're allowed out and about.
His license is completely clean though, despite driving his whole life. But now, he is happy to be driven. He has little need to get behind the wheel anymore. "Driving is not that important to me now," he told the ABC 11. "All my children are here pretty close."
You can't blame the old guy for giving it a go either. As a 101-year-old there can't be many others at that age still with a license.
