10. Gloria's, Dallas
Get tipsy off their strong $4 margs and dance the night away when the restaurant becomes a salsa dance hall after hours.
9. Blue Mesa, the Dallas/Fort Worth area
Their Blue Margaritas are the stuff of legend, frozen or on the rocks. And they're only $4 during Haappy Hour, which also includes a wonderful quesadilla bar.
8. Joe T. Garcia's, Fort Worth
Located in Fort Worth's historic Stockyards, Joe T.'s margaritas are something you have to try if you're in Fort Worth. The food is great, too.
7. Mi Cocina, Various Locations
It's been rumored the Mambo Taxi has Everclear in it, but if it does, the menu won't tell. Visitors can choose a traditional margarita or the Mambo Taxi, which has Sauza Silver Tequila, lime juice, housemade sangria with pinot noir, brandy and fruit juices. Be careful with this one.
6. Uncle Julio's, Various Locations
The Original Swirl Margarita comes loaded with a frozen margarita layered with homemade frozen sangria, topped with a flamingo stand in the drink. And it'll knock you on your ass.
5. Fuzzy's, Fort Worth
Fuzzy's is all over Texas, but you can order the elusive Purple Margarita in Fort Worth. It comes in a schooner lined with sugar or salt, frozen or on the rocks. Make your own Beerita by adding a Corona.
4. Mi Tierra, San Antonio
Open 24 hours a day and decorated with Christmas lights all year, their margarita is definitely a reason to be merry and jolly all year long. You can order their margs in three sizes: Grande, Jumbo and Liter. They come in three flavors: Traditional, Strawberry and Oro de Mi Tierra, the latter of which consists of Jose Cuervo Traditional Tequila, Grand Marnier and lime.

This Austin hotspot turns tequila drinks on its head by mixing margaritas with different liquors— the Coa vs. Kitana features Cimarron blanco tequila, unfilitered saké, lime cordial and coconut liqueur. They mix it with local margarita mix.

This bar prides itself on only using fresh ingredients. They squeeze 150 pounds of citrus by hand every day and for that reason alone, their Eternal Flame Margarita is not to be missed. It includes fresh muddled strawberries and jalapeño, and a splash of ginger beer.
