Zac Brown Band will become the first group ever to play three consecutive nights at Boston’s Fenway Park.
Zac Brown Band will play Boston’s Fenway Park Aug. 7-9, making them the first group ever to perform a three-show residency at the legendary ballpark.
The band originally had only scheduled two shows, but overwhelming popularity in Massachusetts enticed them to tack on a third. Last summer, the Zac Brown Band played two sold-out shows at Fenway and this year proves to be no different. With tickets for the first two shows nearly sold out, the band decided to tack on the third.
Tickets will go on sale for the third show March 27 and are available at the Red Sox’s website. Tickets range from $41.50-$76.50, and online transactions will include a copy of the band’s new CD, Jekyll + Hyde.
Jekyll + Hyde is the first release on the band’s new deals with major players in the music world, John Varvatos Records, Big Machine Label Group and Republic Records. It is also their first release since 2012’s Uncaged.
The new album is scheduled for release April 28 while the supporting tour kicks off three days later in Nashville on May 1. The band will make history twice this tour; besides the three shows at Fenway, they will become the first band in history to play Coor’s Park in Denver.
Tune into ABC tonight to watch the Zac Brown Band play new music on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Later this month they head to Australia to play a series of three shows around the country.
