Zac Brown Band Announces New Album and Gears Up for Tour

Zac Brown Band

Do you want a sneak peek of Zac Brown Band’s new album? Tune in to Saturday Night Live on March 7.

Zac Brown Band has had quite a busy year. As they prepare for their first Saturday Night Live performance, they are gearing up for a new album release and a North American tour.

The band will preview music from their new album Jekyll + Hyde, due out on April 28, during their SNL performance on March 7. The country-rockers collaborated with some unexpected guests on the forthcoming 16-track album, including Soundgarden front man Chris Cornell and pop singer Sara Bareilles.

Zac Brown Band’s choice of collaborators on Jekyll + Hyde should not be very surprising to longtime fans. They have previously toured with rock band Foo Fighters and collaborated with the band’s singer, Dave Grohl, on an album.

The mash up of country, rock, and pop influences almost guarantees a crossover hit.

Their North American tour kicks off the same week as the album release, with the first show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on May 1. They will also headline shows at several stadiums, including Fenway Park and Wrigley Field, and stop by a few festivals along the way.
