If you’ve been dreaming of traveling across the country in style, you have to see Airstream’s dreamy new product that celebrates the beauty of America’s national parks.
The celebrated travel trailer company and Pendleton Woolen Mills have teamed up to produce 100 limited-edition travel trailers in celebration of the National Park System’s 100th anniversary. The 2016 Pendleton National Park Foundation Airstream Travel Trailer sleeps six and is designed to make you feel right at home while out on the road.
“As we kick off the next century of the National Park Service’s critical work, we couldn’t be more pleased to have two of America’s most iconic outdoor brands join together to not only help us celebrate, but also help us preserve this country’s magnificent landscapes, rich history, and cultural treasures for generations to come,” Susan Newton, vice president of grants and programs for the National Park Foundation, said in a press release.
The interior features a luxurious mix of wood accents, leather paneling and vintage style that is reminiscent of the 1950s and 60s.
The spacious living and dining area is the perfect place to enjoy a meal or simply soak in the scenery.
The folding door allows easy access to the outdoors and a great view from anywhere inside the trailer.
The back of the trailer features a spacious sleeping area surrounded by plenty of windows that can be easily covered for privacy.
Although aspiring travelers will have to shell out $114,600 for one of these homes on wheels, Airstream will donate $1,000 from each purchase to the National Park Foundation, which supports preservation at both the Grand Canyon and Glacier National Parks.
