You Can Spend the Night at Dracula’s Enormous Castle this Halloween

Two lucky souls will have the opportunity to spend the night Dracula’s castle this Halloween, marking the first time the property has hosted overnight guests since 1948. What better way to celebrate the scariest holiday of them all than in a haunted castle?

The spooky castle, located on a misty mountaintop in Romania, is home to one of the freakiest tales of the 19th century. Furthermore, it actually was originally a military fortress that linked Transylvania to southern Romania.

It is also famous for its connection to Vlad the Impaler, a real-life prince who stayed there centuries ago. According to WFLA News, the price had a cruel habit of using stakes to impale his victims and inspired Stoker’s story of Count Dracula.

Airbnb is giving away a one night stay for two people and is taking submissions on their website. Interested applications must answer one important question. “What would you say to the Count if you were to come face-to-fang with him in his own castle?”

The pair of winners will win a luxuriously haunted experience. In total, there are 57 rooms in the castle. With that many rooms, you better believe there are plenty of scary nooks and crannies to explore. Then, the winners will enjoy a candlelit dinner and, if brave enough, sleep in velvet lined coffins.

It’s clear in the contest rules that two things aren’t allowed in the castle: garlic and silver jewelry. Both items are believed to scare off vampires.

Guests must be at least 18 years old and entries must be submitted by 11:59 pm Central European Time on October 26. Not located near the property? Not a problem; Airbnb will provide transportation from anywhere in the world.

So, what are you waiting for?
