What do you get the horse that has everything? A suit! A tailored, three-piece tweed suit, to be exact.
The lucky owner of the suit is a horse named Morestead, who was selected to appear at the Cheltenham Festival in England based on his service as a veteran race horse. The festival itself serves as an ode to horse racing and jockeys to celebrate their efforts.
Morehead will be matching his jockey, Sir Anthony McCoy, in this beautiful suit. The tweed was shipped special from Scotland to England. The outfit took four weeks to make and was about 60 feet of tweed. That’s 60 feet added to the 200 miles of tweed that will be on show at the Cheltenham Festival.
This is the first tweed suit ever created for a horse, and Morehead wears it quite stunningly, no? He definitely will have the best suit there, there’s no doubt about it. That is one enormous necktie. Did someone have to tie it for him or do you think he figured it out?
As one man says in the video, “Morestead is like the Naomi Campbell of the modeling world.” Watch him in action below and you’ll completely agree.
