At first glance, these beautiful flowers look like something picked out of a spring garden. In reality, these gorgeous blooms are actually delicious treats that are easy to make and fun to eat. Blogger Manuela from Cooking with Manuela shared this simple recipe for apple roses that will both impress your eyes and satisfy your hunger.
1. To start, stretch out a sheet of puff pastry and spread a coating of apricot preserves across. Next, place a layer of thin slices of apple that have been soaked in lemon water across the top of the dough.
2. Sprinkle with a light coating of cinnamon for color and added spice, then start rolling up the pastry.
3. After the pastry is completely rolled, place it in a muffin tin and bake for 45 minutes.
4. Once they are done baking, let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Then enjoy all of your hard work!
