Country legend Willie Nelson has announced the lineup for his annual Luck Reunion, and it features some of the best and brightest talent from many different genres.
This year’s event will kick off March 18, alongside the annual South by Southwest music festival in nearby Austin, Texas. Held at Nelson’s Luck Ranch, which was originally built as a set for his 1986 film Red Headed Stranger, the day-long music festival will feature three stages of music throughout the day.
The 82-year-old is set to perform along with Billy Joe Shaver, indie-pop queen Jenny Lewis, Lucius, Blitzen Trapper, Doyle Bramhall II, Alberta Cross, John Fullbright, Amasa Hines, Horse Thief and The Black Lillies on the main World Headquarters Stage. The nearby Revival Tent will showcase sets from Billy Joe Shaver, John Moreland, Parker Millsap, Margo Price, Joe Pug, Lissie, Matt Vasquez, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Aaron Lee Tasjan and Indianola.
The intimate, 40-seat Chapel Stage will feature intimate performances from Jack Ingram, Daniel Romano, Erika Wennerstrom of the Heartless Bastards, Ciaran Lavery, Dylan LeBlanc, Holly Macve, Jonny Burke, Rob Baird, Insects vs. Robots and Lily Meola.
A special “song-swap” set will also be held in the style of the 2015 film Heartworn Highways Revisited, and will feature appearances by Sam Outlaw, Andrew Combs, Robert Ellis, T. Hardy Morris, Shelly Colvin, and Jonny Fritz.
Ticketing info and additional details on the event can be found at the Luck Reunion website.
