The new music festival, which will be held over Memorial Day weekend, will also feature performances by Lady Antebellum, Florida Georgia Line and Kid Rock. Additional artists, including Friday night’s headliner, will be announced on Nov. 3.
Nicknamed “The Great American Music Fest at Daytona,” the event will feature three stages of music spread across the infield of the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, FL. Festival-goers will be able to camp inside of the infield with the additional purchase of a weekend camping pass. Special artist meet and greets will be set up inside of pit road and the speedway’s garages.
The concept behind this meshing of NASCAR and country music cultures is a no-brainer, as it builds on the relationship that goes back decades. If executed correctly, this could be one of the most successful new festivals of the year.
General admission tickets will go on sale for the early bird price of $199 on Nov. 3, along with camping and VIP packages through Country500.com. If you’re thinking about going, you should definitely snap up your tickets early, as they will increase in price steadily over the coming months.
