Willie Nelson leads the lineup of performers at the upcoming 2016 Austin City Limits Festival Hall of Fame Inductions and Celebration.
The ceremony, which will be held on at Austin’s Moody Theater on October 12, will also feature musical sets from Rodney Crowell, Mavis Staples, Taj Mahal and Gary Clark Jr. These performances will honor Kris Kristofferson, B.B. King and Bonnie Raitt, who were selected as this year’s inductees into the Hall of Fame.
Kristofferson, King and Raitt have made regular appearances on the now-legendary live performance show, which launched in 1976 and helped put Austin on the map as one of the best places in the world to see live music.
Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally will co-host the event, which will be recorded for a special episode of the series to be aired this fall on PBS. Tickets for the event will go sale May 20 at 10am through Austin City Limits Live’s official website.
The induction ceremony and musical celebration will follow Austin City Limits Festival, which is celebrating it’s 15th anniversary this year. The two-weekend event features performances from Nelson, Chris Stapleton, Kacey Musgraves, Margo Price, Maren Morris and many more.
