William Michael Morgan and Runaway June's Jennifer Wayne have called off their recent engagement. The announcement became public after Wayne tweeted a statement on April 7 about their decision to separate.
Although the couple looked when they announced their engagement in December, it looks like these two lovebirds have clipped their wings.
Wayne surprised her fans with a tweet letting fans know that church bells will not be ringing any time soon.
William and I have called off our engagement. We came to the mutual agreement that this is what?s best for both of us right now.

Many fans came to the conclusion that the breakup was mutual because of her tweet. But that changed when Wayne later posted a rather pointed message on her Instagram account. She shared a photo of her hand without a ring, telling followers to take the lyrics of her band's track "Mascara" to heart.

Fans reacted to Wayne's photo by leaving supportive comments on her post. Morgan has not publicly commented on the breakup, except to reiterate the social media post initially shared by Wayne.
William Michael Morgan is currently on tour with dates set at multiple country music festivals through the summer. Jennifer Wayne will also spend most of the year on the road with her band Runaway June.
