When 82-year-old Bad Muenstereifel was gardening three years ago and lost his wedding ring, he never thought he would find it again. Surprisingly, the ring showed up three years later in the most unexpected way — lodged around a carrot.
According to WDR, Muenstereifel happened across his lost treasure, which his wife always said he would find someday, while checking on his backyard carrot crop. To his surprise, he pulled out one particular carrot and found his beloved ring embedded in the vegetable.
It appears that the roots of the carrot traveled through the ring, which caused the vegetable to divide in half. Who would have thought that a carrot would hold onto a ring this tightly?
