New Album Features Unreleased Tracks from Waylon Jennings

Waylon Jennings may be gone, but his music continues to influence generations of country fans. Next month, fans young and old will be able to enjoy previously unheard material from the country legend.

The Lost Nashville Sessions will be released on Sept. 2, and features fourteen tracks recorded on July 13, 1970. Many of the tracks featured became some of Jennings’ biggest hits before moving into the outlaw country movement.

According to Saving Country Music, the recordings have been “enhanced” by Jennings’ longtime producer, Robby Turner. This likely means that some shifts in production and added instrumentation has been added to give the tracks a fuller sound.
