Luke Bryan gave one fan a surprise of a lifetime by showing up unannounced on her doorstep.
Bryan super-fan Lisa Hayes donated her kidney to save her mother’s life earlier this year. When the country star heard about Hayes’ story, he decided to show up at her house and escort her off to a fun-filled day behind the scenes before taking her to his concert at Nashville’s LP Field. Hayes is obviously overwhelmed by the sweet surprise, which was organized by Bryan himself and her family.
The incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience was filmed to be aired on FOX’s Knock Knock Live. Unfortunately, the segment ended up being cut from the broadcast. Instead of allowing Hayes’ touching story to go unheard, Bryan decided to take things into his own hands and shared the unaired profile on his YouTube channel.
“I hate this story didn’t get shared in it’s original tv outlet but I wanted to make sure my fans got to see what a hero she is,” Bryan shared on his Facebook page. “Thankful I am able to meet people like this along the way.”
