The country star definitely does not hold his peace when he runs off with the bride in his new video.
Kip Moore channels The Wedding Singer and Wedding Crashers in the ‘80s-themed video for his new single. The video is set in a small-town wedding venue, and Moore plays the part of a wedding singer hired to play at the reception. He and his band interrupt the ceremony, much to the groom’s dismay, and Moore ends up stealing the bride away.
“I’m To Blame” is the third single from his upcoming sophomore studio album, which will be released later this year. Moore wrote the song with Justin Weaver and Westin Davis and said it’s the most autobiographical song he’s written.
“This song is a whole lot about the kind of guy I am,” said Moore. “I wrote it to try to say exactly who I am.”
Moore will perform at the ACM Party for a Cause music festival in Arlington, Texas on April 18. The two-day festival precedes the 50th Annual ACM Awards on April 19 and benefits ACM Lifting Lives. He will also help Dierks Bentley kick off his Sounds of Summer Tour on June 5 in Raleigh, N.C.
