America’s most adorable TV couple, Chip and Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper, are trying their hand at the Newlywed Game, and as expected, it’s hilarious .
Fixer Upper is the home renovation TV show phenomenon on HGTV that features the couple flipping houses for clients in the Waco, Texas area. They are pretty much miracle workers, taking small budgets and completely run-down or outdates houses and turning them into dreams homes. You can check out some of their best fixer-upper projects from the show right here.
Us Weekly sat the couple down to see how many correct answers they could guess about each other and their relationship. As expected, Chip is his usual goofy self, and Joanna is being completely charming.
Their first question is “What is the most romantic thing Chip has ever done?” Chip answers “choker necklace,” but Joanna says it was the way Chip proposed to her. He led her into a jewelry store where he surprised her with getting to design her own ring.
The next question is about their first date, and they both recall their trip to Valley Mills, Texas where they went to an old bed and breakfast and spent the whole time talking. How sweet!
Question number three is, “What was Chip’s first pick-up line?” They both pick, “Are you the girl from the commercial?” Apparently, Joanna used to do local commercials for his dad’s business and that’s the first thing Chip ever said to Jojo.
Chip and Joanna also talk about who said ‘I love you’ first, the most embarrassing thing Chip has done in front of a client and the thing that Joanna says most often on the show.
