Chip and Joanna Gaines are the stars of the incredibly popular HGTV show, Fixer Upper, where the duo flip and decorate old homes in the Waco area for lucky clients.

The adorable goats were on the Gaines’ personal property, which was closed to visitors at the time they were killed.

Waco police Sgt. Swanton said that they are still investigating who could have done this and that they are taking the “senseless act” seriously. Those responsible for the heinous crime could be charged with animal cruelty as well.

There has been no statement yet from Chip and Joanna Gaines or HGTV, but we all know the goats are a beloved part of the Gaines family.
