Tyler Farr, Maddie and Tae, More to Play Benefit Concert for Orlando Victims

Some of country’s biggest stars are banding together to help raise money for the victims of the recent mass shooting in Orlando.

Jerrod Niemann, Tyler Farr, Maddie & Tae, Michael Ray and Canaan Smith have partnered with local television station WFTV and radio station K92FM for Country Strong – Orlando’s Night of Healing & Country Music. The benefit concert will be held at the University of Central Florida’s CFE Arena in Orlando on Tuesday, June 21.

Every cent raised from ticket sales and parking fees outside the venue will go toward the OneOrlando Fund, which was created by Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer following the tragic shooting in the early hours of June 12.

“We are honored to be part of this special concert to benefit the victims of this senseless act against our community,” Paul Curran, vice president and general manager of WFTV and WRDQ, said in a press release. “We stand united with all peace loving citizens of Orlando in beginning the healing process and this concert is an important step in that direction.”

Tickets are only $20, and are currently on sale through Ticketmaster. If you can’t make it to the event, you can still donate to the OneOrlando Fund here.
