With the announcement of the Bandwagon Tour with megapopular country artists Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town sharing co-headlining status, fans were wondering who could open for such highly anticipated acts. Now it's been announced that the Turnpike Troubadours, The Steel Woods and Natalie Hemby will take on the opening slots of the impressive tour.
The Turnpike Troubadours and The Steel Woods both joined Lambert on several of her recent Livin' Like Hippies tour dates. The Turnpike Troubadours will keep audiences engaged with their robust, Red Dirt tunes produced by the talented six-piece band hailing from Oklahoma. They'll take on the majority of the opening slots while The Steel Woods will jump in for the two August Texas dates in the middle of the tour.
For the first three dates of the Bandwagon Tour, Natalie Hemby will fill the opening slot. She's penned songs for both Lambert and Little Big Town, so it will be interesting for fans to hear her perform her own songs.
A young new artist from Alberta, Canada named Tenille Townes will also join the tour and open for all of the dates.

Several of the tour dates go on sale on March 16, and fans should check out Lambert and Little Big Town's websites for presale, meet and greet info and the possibility of additional dates getting tacked on to the tour.
