Not even a frightening fall from the stage can keep Thomas Rhett from performing for his fans.
During his recent concert in Charlottesville, Va., the country singer took a tumble while gliding across the edge of the stage. A video snapped by a fan standing beside the stage shows just how cool Rhett managed to stay during the scary moment.
After falling into the crowd of concertgoers, the “Die a Happy Man” singer kept his cool and waited for his fans to lift him back onto his feet. You can even see him tap his foot, sticking out of the crowd and tapping along with the beat as he regains his balance.
For a few moments, he continues his performance while floating in the air, thanks to the support of a few lucky attendees. When he makes his way back onto his feet, Rhett is all smiles, brushing off the misstep like a true professional.
Shortly after wrapping up that night’s performance, Rhett posted a photo of him receiving medical attention in his tour bus after the fall. “Good times falling off stage tonight in Charlottesville, VA,” he joked in the Instagram’s caption.
Thanks to social media, news of Rhett’s tumble spread rapidly. Even Reba McEntire reached out to give her well-wishes to the recuperating country star.
