A special house is tucked away down a remote dirt road just outside of Fargo, North Dakota. Unlike most houses, it doesn’t rest on soil or dirt. Instead, this incredible abode is actually a tree house made for luxury and nature enthusiasts alike.
Derek Diedricksen took a tour of this house built by the famous Pete Nelson of the TV show Tree House Masters. The fairytale-like design starts with a winding, natural staircase that looks like it comes straight out of Snow White.
The front door is tucked behind a large tree limb to accommodate the changing and growing tree.
The dining table drops down and turns into a bed.
The galley style kitchen has a rounded design with a stellar view and all the gadgets.
The master bedroom comes with plenty of natural light and more storage underneath the bed.
While the interior is spectacular and trimmed in natural wooden textures, the deck is the star. It looks out over the river and even has a tiny grill.
And when you need some warmth on those cold North Dakota nights you can sit around the fire pit on the ground.
This video from Relax Shacks gives you a feel for this magical cottage in the trees.
