It doesn’t get much more Texan than this. An H-E-B in Hutto has a 24-hour Whataburger drive-thru.
The store is located on the SH130 toll road South at Gattis School Road in Hutto. The Whataburger is part of an H-E-B gas station and convenience store.
According to the Austin American-Statesman, this is the second H-E-B in Texas to get such an arrangement, the first was in Lytle, Texas, which is just southwest of San Antonio.
H-E-B and Whataburger already have a business relationship. The Texas grocery store giant began selling several Whataburger-branded condiments in 2015. Among the Whataburger products that customers can currently buy in stores include Whataburger-branded jalapeño ranch dressing, mustard, spicy ketchup and Whatafries.
Though this won’t be the first H-E-B/Whataburger pairing, it will be the first H-E-B location to include an optometrist. H-E-B is now joining the ranks of other large supermarkets (like Target and Walmart) to offer optical services.
