The fifth of May hasn’t been nicknamed “Cinco de Drinko” for nothing; the Mexican holiday is the perfect excuse to indulge in some of everyone’s favorite frozen drink – margaritas. Whether you drink them with salt, on the rocks, or with a side of chips and salsa, margaritas are a staple for any Cinco de Mayo celebration.
If you like a little kick to your cocktails and are looking for a unique take on the traditional strawberry margarita, this Fireball Margarita recipe from Delish is a must try. The “tastes like heaven, burns like hell” whisky adds the perfect amount of spiciness to the sweet, fruity drink. Plus, you can easily make these bad boys right in the comfort of your own kitchen.
To create this festive beverage you will need ice, lime juice, frozen strawberries, sugar, tequila and Fireball Whisky. Start with the ice, and then slowly add the rest of the ingredients (to taste) in a blender. Watch the process in the video below.
