Foodcraft Espresso and Bakery recently unveiled the Tella Ball Shake and it goes without saying the Internet has fallen head over heels in love.
The Tella Ball Shake, believe it or not, is actually a combination of two Foodcraft classics — a Nutella milkshake and…wait for it…a Nutella-stuffed doughnut. Aki Daikos, owner of Foodcraft, says the recent influx of attention, thanks to social media, has put the bakery in overdrive.
“We made 400 Tella Balls today and already ran out at 11 a.m. this morning,” he told Mashable in an article published Aug. 6. “We had to close early today as we ran out of milk.”
Unfortunately, for us Americans, Foodcraft Espresso and Bakery is a long plane ride away, in Sydney, Australia. Coincidentally, just last month, another Australian café caused an Internet storm over its ridiculous monster-sized milkshakes.
So unless we throw down for a plane ticket to dessert-strewn Australia, for the time being, the most we can do is take part in this insane obsession over these Nutella doughnut-topped Nutella milkshakes – what a mouth-full.
