Did people think she was not "country" enough to join in the heartfelt send-off for Jackson? Swift actually launched her career in the genre. Is the public tiring of the rumors swirling about her and fiancé Travis Kelce's wedding? The buzz is that their splashy nuptials may be taking place at Madison Square Garden at the start of July.

It Was a Truly Special Occasion for Alan Jackson

Whatever the reason for the unaccustomed alleged hoots, it was a very special event for Alan Jackson. Per the Nissan Stadium website, he said, "We just felt like we had to end it all where it all started for me, and that's in Nashville—Music City—where country music lives."

Per Rolling Stone, the other performers included Carrie Underwood, Riley Green, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, George Strait, and several more.

Swift Kept Her Message Sincere, Short, and Sweet

In the brief video, Swift addressed Jackson directly at his grand gala goodbye. The star-studded concert was titled Last Call: One More for the Road - The Finale.

Taylor Swift began with simply saying this. "It's Taylor. I just want to say thank you for your decades of your incredible songwriting and performances, and the way that means so much to us, the fans."

She tossed in some love for Alan Jackson's track, "Drive." Swift covered it herself almost 20 years ago. "In that song, you paint such a picture and let us into the details of your life. I know that was an example that was so good for me to see at a young age, an artist who's just really letting fans into the details of his life."

Swift also acknowledged that she and many fellow singers have benefited from getting "such support and encouragement over the years" from the famed singer. "I'm so excited for you doing this show and just appreciate you so much. Love you."
