Taylor Alexander and Jesse Larson Supply 'Shameless' Garth Cover on 'The Voice'

This season of The Voice has some intense competition, and an array of talents from across the musical spectrum. Two of those artists, Taylor Alexander and Jesse Larson, gave their all to their rendition of "Shameless."

The dueling competitors from Team Adam showed off their individual strengths on the vocally challenging tune from Billy Joel, which was famously covered by Garth Brooks. Alexander, who wowed judges with his country cover of Cher's "Believe," stayed true to his own sound. Although Larson's range allowed him to hit the difficult runs with ease, both contestants infused plenty of emotion into the song.

Judge Blake Shelton praised Alexander for taking things to the next level. "Way to step up to the plate," he told the Nashville hopeful. Although it was a close match, Larson ended up coming out as the winner. But I wouldn't worry too much about Taylor Alexander. He'll likely be the next country singer to find success after leaving The Voice.
