One old school camper, a 1968 Sprite caravan to be exact, recently got a total home makeover that you have to see to believe. The worn-down RV was purchased by the blogger behind Vintage Meets Glam, who was able to take it from drab to fab.
The renovation took seven months, and included big changes to both the inside and outside. Despite its age, the Sprite is still fully functional with the ability to travel. This is what the camper originally looked like.
The inside was far from impressive, with minimal decoration and old carpeting. Not very inviting, to say the least.
A little love, some new paint and a lot of hard work, however, goes a long way. Take a look at how amazing the makeover turned out.
The exterior was modernized with an eye-catching pattern of clean, fresh paint and the windows adorned with bright, fresh flowers.
Think the outside is cute? Well, wait until you see the amazing indoor renovations. White paint on the walls and cabinets really brighten up the inside of the camper while bold splashes of colorful fabric and decor items provide adorable contrast.
The makeover was a huge success and as a result, the RV appears much bigger inside. Furthermore, the camper has plenty of room for fun, despite its size. It also has necessary amenities like a sink, fridge and stove.
Homey touches like frames on the wall, plants, vintage accents and a colorful clock really help bring the tiny residence to life.
The end product is cozy, modern and totally adorable. Also, it’s amazing how the renovators were able to see such potential in the original product.
So, next time you see something that looks like trash, keep it mind that you may be able to transform it into a total treasure.
