Over 700 hours of labor went into the inception of this gorgeous 250-square-foot farmhouse. The tiny house was built by home designer Matt Impola. He spent every weekend over a 10 month period building as part of Impola’s own Handcrafted Movement while still working a full-time job. On his website, Impola says the movement is meant to play a part in the rebirth of American ingenuity and quality in manufacturing.
You’ll need to walk slowly through the front door, otherwise you might miss the 3-foot deep closet space upon entry. A pool of natural light greets you as you enter the open living space.
A built-in entertainment center rests directly across from the couch. Fold it down for more comfortable seating while reading a book or watching a movie.
Plenty of shelving underneath the television and along the living room walls allow for both additional storage space and décor. Wooden accents like the gorgeous trim and beams really bring out the rustic feel.
Past the living area is the kitchen, which houses a built-in window nook. This is the perfect place to hold everything you need for morning coffee. Reclaimed wood counter tops leave the perfect amount of space for cooking. Cleaning won’t be a problem since the white farmhouse sink has plenty of room for dishes.
Sticking with the country feel are the two-toned stairs that lead up to the loft. Underneath them is additional storage space as well as a nicely sized refrigerator. The bed in the loft is surrounded by brass rails in addition to bedroom storage drawers for clothing.
A generous size bathroom includes a single sink, toilet and stand up shower in addition to a vanity for extra storage.
The outside even has an adorable garden for plants and herbs in addition to a sweet bird feeder hanging from above. This stunning farmhouse-on-wheels makes it easy to bring comfort and luxury wherever you go.
