Do you love the music of Sun Records and fluffy pancakes? Looks like you’ll need to head to downtown Nashville.
TC Restaurant Group has partnered with the legendary record company to open Sun Diner, a 24-hour eatery on Nashville’s Lower Broadway. The unique restaurant is being built on Third Avenue, directly next to the Johnny Cash Museum.
The brightly-colored, music-themed diner will sell Sun Records merchandise, as well as items that feature label artists Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash. This is just one of many music-themed projects coming to the downtown Nashville area.
Nudie’s Honky Tonk will feature memorabilia from the legendary fashion designer. Dierks Bentley is prepping his own Whiskey Row bar just across the street in 2017. Over the past few years, Nashville has become one of the top tourist destinations in the country. The once run-down areas of Lower Broadway have become the place for a fun night out on the town.
Sun Diner is definitely up against some fierce competition. However, they will be one of the few spots in downtown where you can grab breakfast at any hour of the day. That’s a great incentive for late night partiers who need a little extra fuel to keep them going.
Music fans can enjoy all the Sun Diner has to offer when it opens its doors later this year.
