Sturgill Simpson Announces Fall Headlining Tour

Sturgill Simpson has announced a string of headlining tour dates beginning in September.

The 2015 Living the Dream Tour will hit theaters and auditoriums in many major cities along the east coast. The dates will follow up a intense summer tour schedule, with upcoming festival stops at FarmBorough, Firefly, Lollapalooza and Willie Nelson’s Fourth of July Picnic.

Simpson signed a deal with Atlantic Records earlier this year and is working on a new album with Dave Cobb, the same producer he used on his popular 2014 debut album. No release date for the new album has been set.

He’ll also be making a stop in Nashville for the Americana Association Awards on Sept. 16, where he is nominated for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year for “Turtles All The Way Down.”
