One North Carolina woman is making those of us squeamish around snakes seem a bit wimpy with a viral video of her catching a serpent in her living room using only a pillow case.
SunShine McCurry's video has been viewed more than 13 million times since it was posted last week. McCurry has clearly dealt with snakes a time or two. Her commentary and enthusiasm add to the charm of this clip.
Wrestling a snake with a cotton bag and some gumption? Now that's country right there.
McCurry released the snake outside, and it's presumably back to its routine slithering.
This wasn't the only snake to make headlines in the Southeast in recent days. A Georgia man was driving down I-85 this month when a snake crawled out from under the hood and up to the window. Thankfully no one was injured.
