The teaser trailer for PBS’s American Masters – Loretta Lynn: Still a Mountain Girl has finally arrived.

The highly-anticipated documentary will explore the many facets of Loretta Lynn‘s incredible career, from her hard beginnings in rural Kentucky to the top of the charts.

“Oh heavens, I never thought of anything like this when I was a kid,” the 83-year-old icon explains in the documentary. “Growing up in Butcher Hollow, that’s where you’ll stay.”

Fans will get to see never-before-seen footage of Lynn, including family home movies and live performances from throughout her life. The project also features interviews with many of Lynn’s close friends and musical colleagues, including Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert and Jack White.

The airing of “Still a Mountain Girl” will also coincide of the release of Full Circle, Lynn’s first new studio album in over a decade. Produced by John Carter Cash, the album will feature a mixture of both brand new tracks and modern renditions of Lynn’s previous hits, including “Whispering Sea” and “Fist City.”

American Masters – Loretta Lynn: Still a Mountain Girl will air on PBS, Friday, Mar. 4 at 9 p.m. EST Until then, you can check out the documentary’s trailer below.
