Luke Bryan joined R&B sensation John Legend, pop stars Demi Lovato and Meghan Trainor, and Tyreese for a Lionel Richie tribute at the 2016 Grammy Awards.

Legend opened the medley with “Easy”, a smooth jam for the ages.

Demi Lovato came out for “Hello” and nailed it. Lionel Richie himself looked impressed and enthused with her performance.

Bryan was third on stage for “Penny Lover”. It was… okay. Bryan seemed out of place with the other performers.

Meghan Trainor sang “You Are the Sun, You Are the Rain”, and Tyreese rounded out the cast of eclectic pop performers with “Brick House”.

Richie joined the cast onstage for “All Night Long”. At 66, Richie is still quite the performer.

Country music had some big winners at this year’s Grammy Awards. Chris Stapleton took home the awards for Best Country Album and Best Solo Country Performance. Little Big Town took home Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Girl Crush”, which also won Best Country Song.
