See Kacey Musgraves’ Dazzling New Video for ‘What Are You Doing New Years Eve?’

If there’s one thing Kacey Musgraves loves to do, it’s adding a little sparkle to everything she does. An that’s exactly what she’s accomplished for her glamorous new video for “What Are You Doing New Years Eve?”

The beloved holiday tune has been covered by countless artists over the years. And although Musgraves’ own holiday album, A Very Kacey Christmas, puts a unique spin on classic tracks, this one stays true to its jazzy roots. Decked out in plenty of sparkles and shine, she echoes the romance and spirit of the 1940s for the simple but sweet video.

“What Are You Doing New Years Eve?” is the last track on A Very Kacey Christmas, which also features covers of “Feliz Navidad,” “Let it Snow” and “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.” She also wrote a few original holiday tunes, including the fittingly breezy “A Willie Nice Christmas” (can you guess who it’s about?) and “Christmas Makes Me Cry.”
