Although most people know Jonathan Jackson best for his character on ABC’s Nashville, his performance of “Unchained Melody” at the Opry last fall showcased his true musical talent.
During the tumultuous final season of Nashville, Jackson’s character Avery had to put aside his singing career to take care of his infant daughter. Sadly, that meant viewers had to enjoy less and less of Jackson’s soulful voice on the show. Outside of the television world, Jackson and his band Enation are still going strong and have stayed busy on the touring circuit.
During his show at Grand Ole Opry back in September of 2015, Jackson showed off his impressive vocal abilities with his cover of the popular track made famous by the Righteous Brothers in 1965. The power and control he displays during his set is something that is only seen from truly talented and highly experienced performers.
