Reba McEntire is All About Girl Power in New Video for “Going Out Like That”

The country superstar’s new single is a rocking power anthem about breakups and rebounds.

Reba McEntire premiered the video for her new single, “Going Out Like That,” from her upcoming album, Love Somebody. It is her 27th studio album, and it will be released in April on the new record label Nash Icon. The label is also home to Ronnie Dunn and Martina McBride.

When McEntire first heard the song, it was sung by a man, but she said the power of the song called out to her. She is known for her feisty demeanor and sassy songs, and she was able to turn the song from a male perspective and make it her own.

Love Somebody will include 12 tracks, including a tune featuring Jennifer Nettles and a few songs written by Brandy Clark. Mega-retailer Target has signed on to help distribute and promote the song, and Nash Icon will release a Target-exclusive edition with two additional songs.

The album is McEntire’s first new studio release in five years.
