Two rappers tried their hardest to put their own spin on a Keith Urban hit, but the result left a lot to be desired.

iHeart Radio recently tried to get a few hip-hop artists to step out of their genre and attempt a rap version Urban’s catchy single “Wasted Time”

Shaggy, the artist behind the 2000 hit “It Wasn’t Me,” was the first rapper to give the song a try. Immediately, you can see the confusion on his face. BJ the Chicago Kid also gives the song a try.

You can catch the horrible attempt in the video below.

Their goal was to make the song smooth, but it wound up awkward and unrecognizable. Let’s leave country music to the professionals.

If you want to hear the original version of this song, check out his new studio album, Ripcord. Urban will be on the road supporting his new release through the summer, with stops set throughout the United States and Australia.
